Science you do, not just study.
Allen’s Biology Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Biology with two concentrations. Every student finishes with an independent research project.
- Understand the scienceMaster modern biological concepts and connect them to chemistry, physics, and math.
- Analyze real dataLearn lab techniques, statistics, and data analysis to solve biological problems.
- Communicate findingsPresent your science clearly in writing and out loud.
- Get experiencePrepare for careers or graduate study through internships and hands-on learning.
Two paths. One strong science core.
Both concentrations share the same first two years: biology, chemistry, math, and Allen’s general education courses.
Built for future health professionals.
Deep coursework in the human body and the molecular sciences. 45 credit hours in the major, plus 16 in chemistry and physics.
