Yes. SAT and ACT scores are not required for admission. If you’re applying for academic scholarships, send official scores. Allen’s SAT code is 5006.

Apply by May 1 for the fall semester or November 1 for the spring semester. After those dates, applications are still accepted on a space-available basis through the end of registration.

Yes. Submit a GED certificate approved by the originating state department of education in place of a high school diploma.

AP and IB exam scores of 3 or higher may earn credit. College courses must be college-level, from a regionally accredited institution, applicable to your program, and earned within the past 10 years. Send transcripts at least six weeks before the semester begins.

Absolutely. Every visit is personal and hosted by our Admissions team. Schools, churches, and community groups can request a group visit, too.

Yes. Students can combine federal, state, and Allen aid. Your first step is the FAFSA, using Allen’s Federal School Code: 003417. Allen’s FAFSA priority date is March 15.

Yes. Allen awards institutional scholarships for academics, athletics, and the performing arts, from the AU Merit Scholarship up to the Presidential Scholarship, which can cover full tuition, room, board, and fees.

Yes. Every Allen graduate automatically becomes a member of the General Alumni Association of Allen University, Inc. (GAAAU) upon graduation, with no membership fee the first year. Annual dues are collected after that.
