COPPIN Hall Restoration Project
Project Overview
Allen University is currently undertaking the preservation and restoration of Coppin Hall, a historic landmark located at 1530 Harden Street, Columbia, SC. Completed in 1907, Coppin Hall is a centerpiece of the Allen University Historic District, representing the institution’s foundational role in African American education and its significant architectural legacy.
Grant Support
This project is being supported in part by a Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) grant from the Historic Preservation Fund administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.
