Your Student Account

Keep your account in good standing.

Your account includes charges such as tuition, room, board, health, and activity fees, and credits such as payments and financial aid.

  • Need more time?

    Payment plan

An approved payment plan, which requires a down payment based on the amount due, lets you spread an unpaid balance over three consecutive months. Set it up within 15 days of your first balance-due notification.

  • Past-due accounts

    Avoid holds

Past-due accounts may be removed from classes. You can’t register or receive a transcript until your account is paid in full, and degree candidates must be in good financial standing to graduate.

  • Returned payments

    Checks & cards

A $35 fee applies to any returned check, with 15 days to pay in full by bank check or money order. Chargebacks or invalid cards result in immediate removal from courses.

  • Dropping a class?

    Follow the process

Stopping payment on a check or card does not drop or withdraw you from courses. You remain responsible for all tuition and fees posted to your account.

Refunds & Withdrawals

How refunds work.

Financial aid refunds. When federal financial aid exceeds your tuition and fees, the refund is processed within 14 days of the credit balance showing on your account and all charges being applied.

Other refunds. Non-financial aid refunds are made by check, payable to the student and mailed to the address on record. Keep your mailing address up to date.

Talk to Financial Aid before you drop or withdraw. Withdrawing can mean returning part of your federal aid.

Tuition adjustment for withdrawals

  • Before the end of week 1 100%
  • Before the end of week 2 75%
  • Before the end of week 3 50%
  • Before the end of week 4 25%

Military Tuition Assistance follows a separate return schedule, listed on the Payment Options page.
